3 months old today! Our precious angel is getting so big! She is such a blessing and has added to our lives in so many ways!

12 weeks old today! Our precious bundle is growing up too fast! Time is flying by and I am savouring every moment that I have at home with her. Its been a busy time juggling 2 girls at school, 2 extra-mural programmes, 2 sets of homework and then fittin g in 3 hourly feeds around all this! But apparently hundreds of woman have managed this in the past so I am sure that I will figure it out some time soon and maintain some form of sanity at the same time. (hee hee!!)
Josie went to her first birthday parties this weekend and has also had her first swim! It has been unbelievably hot here so I put her in the pool to try and cool her down. She kicked around wildly and did not seem to mind the cool water at all.
Her big sisters have spent most of their time in the pool the last few days...homework is way down the list of priorities! They are also growing so fast....Katy is reading now and is so excited about it and Abi is reading in Afrikaans!

10 weeks today!! Our little baby is growing too quickly! She has grown 11 cm since her birth and put on 1.4kg. She is doing so well and sleeping through every night now. She is giggling and has discovered her hands.......she stares at them for ages and is now doing her best to see if she can fit both fists in her mouth at the same time. She continues to be a happy, easy-going baby who just fits in with whatever is happening.
This weekend we were privileged enough to join Bob and Lee at Oribi Haven at Kasouga for the weekend. What a treat it was to just chill and catch up with these special friends. The girls had a ball in the lagoon and I had great fun photographing oribi and anything else that stood still long enough! Josie went on her first game 'stake-out' - we sat near a watering point one evening waiting for a chance to photograph the Blue Duiker but to no avail! Josie slept through the whole thing!
The girls are doing well at school and life has suddenly gotten very busy with all their extra-mural activities! Roll on the next holiday!!

School started today!! we were all up early and set off with Kate dressed in her uniform for the first time!!! As you can see, she looks too cute! Both girls had a great day - they love their teachers and came home with lots of exciting news from the day. I am sure that they are both going to have a great year.

Josie, who is now 8 weeks, is making good progress in her own little way...she has slept through for 2 nights now and I am very excited about that! I am loving the extra sleep!!

Happy New Year! (This post never posted last week when it was written....apologies!)

May 2010 be a wonderful year for everybody! We have had a wonderful holiday - mostly at home - but it is fast coming to an end now. Shaun is back at work after 2 weeks leave and the girls and I are getting ready for school. Josie is growing by the for day and is smiling and gurgling for evrybody, especially her sisters. She is such a blessing!

Three weeks today!! It is hard to believe and I gave no idea where the time has gone to. I am still having a ball playing 'babies' and loving just being at home with Josie. The big sisters are still very taken with their baby sister and she is kissed and loved 100 times a day! Its lovely to watch them with her and to see them growing in confidence when holding her and helping me with her.

Josie leads an interesting life....she has already been to her first Managers Dinner, breakfast with Shaun's General Manager, been on her first road trip to PE and Alexandria. She was at grade 3 luncheon yesterday, a Coctail Party tonight and Final Assembly at school tomorrow!! Its amazing how No. 3 just has to fit in with everybody else and learn to 'go with the flow'! She is so good and so 'mellow' though and sleeps happily thru most things. What a blessing!

Josie was one week old yesterday....... and all is well!
She is such a sweetie pie! She is feeding every 3 hours (roughly) and sleeping well in between. The nights have been fine - one or two hectic ones where she has battled to settle but on the whole, we cannot complain!
We visited the clinic on Monday and she has regained her birth weight...really encouraging!
We have also had her hearing tested and all is good and working well on that front.
We are totally blessed by this little bundle!
